You can ONLY collect these during a SCOPE mission (Gather Intel) for Cayo Perico Heist, NOT during FINALE. There is an award associated with it called "Treasure Hunter" which you can go for (50 Chests for Platinum award - 25 days of collecting). These will update daily at 1:00 AM EST, try not to be in a GTA Online session at this time. If you are it may cause your chest spawn to get bugged out for the day.
