System to avert US sanctions on Iran ready soon: German minister

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran on Monday as part of European efforts to salvage the historic JCPOA nuclear pact and defuse rising US-Iranian tension. Mass says a European financial system, designed to avoid US sanctions, should be up and running soon.
