Volkswagen Beetle Engine Rebuild & Restoration | Part 2: Engine Removal

A time lapse as I pull the 1600cc single port engine from my 1966 beetle to begin the rebuild. Total time it took was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was pleased with that, considering this was my first time pulling a classic beetle engine. This was also about 10x quicker than pulling the engine on my Eagle Talon AWD. Note to self for next time... make sure the car is jacked up high enough to fit the engine out. Also... properly chock the front wheels 🤦‍♂️.
