There are more slaves today than in any other time in modern history. How did we get here? What are the ways people are being trafficked? What can we do to make sure everyone has freedom? How can we enact change today? We have the power to change the course of our history starting today! Former Fundraising, Special Events, and Community Outreach Coordinator for Hilltop’s Latimer house, which is the domestic violence and sexual assault program in Mesa County. Passionate about people and fighting human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Believes everyone has a right to freedom! Believes that we must talk about injustices but we also must take action. Believes that we must take care of each other in order to create a better world for ourselves and future generations. I want to be remembered as a person who deeply loved, cared, and didn’t sit idly by while injustices occurred around me.
