ONE DC celebrates Emancipation Day 2015 - together we imagine economic emancipation. We engaged in an evening of community learning around the history of Emancipation Day, the role of economic democracy in Black liberation struggles, the connection between economics and land, worker cooperatives, and how our economic emancipation is tied to #BlackLivesMatter.
