Superman: We've Seen The FILMING and TELL YOU EVERYTHING! EXCLUSIVE: James Gunn and David Corenswet

We went high and far and exclusively visited the set of Superman (DC Studios, 2025)! Guilherme Jacobs brings everything he saw straight from Cleveland (or would it be Metropolis?) and his chat with James Gunn and David Corenswet. James Gunn writes and directs a story focused on a younger Clark Kent, shortly after leaving Smallville, and in his early days as a reporter in the city of Metropolis. Parallel to the beginning of his professional career, he also takes his first steps as Superman. The film, however, is not an origin story, so we won't see Krypton exploding or the Kents discovering it. David Corenswet (Pearl) plays Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) plays Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road) is the villain Lex Luthor. Skyler Gisondo will play Jimmy Olsen, the hero's best friend. Wendell Pierce (The Wire) has been cast as Perry White, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, the newspaper where Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen work. Other DC characters will be in the film. Nathan Fillion plays Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced will be Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi will play Mr. Incredible and Anthony Carrigan is playing Metamorpho. In addition to these, the film has María Gabriela De Faria as the Engineer, a character who will later appear in the group The Authority, which will have its own film.
