Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Frosty start, warming trend begins in Northeast Ohio
Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, October 17, 2024. After a frosty start today, we'll begin a warming trend that takes us all the way through next week with warm afternoon temps, lots of sunshine, and dry weather! Let's begin with the frosty start. Frost and freeze alerts are out until 9am this morning with the coldest readings in our southwestern and western counties. Temps will warm into the upper 50s this afternoon with lingering lake clouds giving way to sunshine. The Guardians game looks great, but expect temps to cool quickly once we approach sunset in the later innings. Expect another frosty night tonight with temps dipping back into the 30s. Skies will remain clear. Those clear skies will provide a ton of sunshine Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with temps warming into the mid 60s and into the low 70s this weekend. It still looks like one of the best Fall weekends weather-wise! Next week our attention turns towards an approaching cold front that will bring clouds back to the region later Tuesday with showers possible Tuesday night and Wednesday. This front will knock our temps back towards seasonal averages in the upper 50s and low 60s later next week. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: A frosty start!
