READ ALONG TO PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH AND TO LEARN THE MEANING OF CAUGHT OFF GUARD: So in English when you are caught off guard, it means that you weren't ready for something. I was a little bit caught off guard this week because this tractor is supposed to be connected to that snow blower. I wasn't expecting all of the snow that you see behind me so I was caught off guard. I wasn't ready for this much snow. This sometimes happens to my students as well. Sometimes they forget or they don't remember that there is a test and they come into the classroom and they are caught off guard because all of a sudden they realize that we are having a test that day. So it's not nice to be caught off guard, it's nice to always be prepared for things. But I was certainly caught off guard for all of this snow. I'll walk over here and I'll show you just a little bit more of it so you can see how much I was caught off guard. If you look behind me, you can see that we got several centimeters of it. So I was definitely caught off guard. But you guys know that I am Bob the Canadian, I live in Canada and I love snow so it really isn't that bad to have this much snow in the backyard. By the way, there's a whole new video on YouTube right now if you search Bob the Canadian snow you'll find it. I'll go over a whole bunch of words and phrases associated with snow. And I made that video during the snow storm that gave us all this snow. So why don't you head over there and give it a watch? #englishlesson #englishcourse #englishtips --- ⌛ Be sure to watch the video TWICE today and ONCE tomorrow to reinforce the English that you have learned! --- ✅ SUBSCRIBE RIGHT HERE: / @bobsshortenglishlessons --- ✅ Looking for longer English lessons?
