For today's video, I'm going to share with you my home cooked Goto with an easy recipe. GOTO is one of the comfort food for some Filipinos including me, I have cooked GOTO for my kids and theirs friends visiting our home. Me and my cousin love to eat Goto from turo-turo (street food) back in Philippines. It's considered a good food for the sick people, tired people, and those people experiencing hang over. Have a try on this dish and for sure you will love it! Enjoy the video. EASY GOTO RECIPE (6-10 servings) Ingredients: 500 g - Glutinous Rice (whole) 300 g - Beef Tripe (Precooked ) 2 pcs - Onions Big (cut into mince) 2 pcs - Garlic Whole (cut into mince) 3 thumbs - Ginger (cut into mince) 1 small bundle - Spring Onion (cut into small pcs) 1 1/2 tsp - Turmeric Powder 2 Tbsp - Fish Sauce/Patis 2 pcs - beef bouillon (optional) 4 eggs - hard boiled (optional) 2-3 Tbsp - Cooking oil 2 ltr - Water Procedures: 1. Wash Tripe and cook (first boiled then remove from water and boil again to make sure it cleans and remove the smell do it 4x). 2. Cut all the ingredients. 3. Saute the garlic. make it golden brown then remove garlic the from the pan. 4. Saute Ginger, Onions til caramelized, then add the tripe and some spring onions 5.Add the glutinous rice, simmer for 5 minutes then add one liter of water then boil for 20 minutes til it become soft and thicken. 6. When the glutinous rice is cooked add some crunchy garlic then mix it to blend the flavor. 7. Ready serve. Put into serving bowls and garnish with chopped spring onions and fried garlic bits. Serve hot. Enjoy!
