Severe storm hits DC and surrounding areas Flash flood and tornado warning in effect A very severe storms that hammered the D.C. area in US on Thursday has brought heavy rain, lightning, and, in some places, even hail. This storm has left number of homes without power. In addition to this, further two tornado warning were issued in D.C. Maryland and Virginia on Thursday night. Widespread damage has been reported in Arlington, Virginia, with numerous trees, wires and poles blown down due to this severe storm. #itstomorrow
