World Aids Day CPD event: Advanced HIV disease

The CMH Family Medicine Department arranged a CPD event for the BCM doctors on Advanced HIV disease. This year the Southern African HIV clinician Society published a guideline on Advanced HIV disease. In this brief overview Dr Muller gives us a taster on an approach to the severely ill, immunocompromised patient. Dr Madeleine Muller is a Family Physician at CMH and senior lecturer at WSU. She is the convenor for the Diploma of HIV Management with the Colleges of Medicine South Africa and the coordinator for the HIV clinician society in BCM.
