FBI search home of gunman killed at Muhammad exhibit - Daily Mail

Elton Simpson, from Phoenix, Arizona, (top left) and his roommate Nadir Soofi (center) opened fire outside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Dallas before they were both shot dead by a traffic officer outside. Investigators can be seen inspecting weapons and removing their bodies from the scene on Monday. Simpson had previously been convicted of lying to the FBI about his plans to travel to Africa, but a judge ultimately ruled it could not be proved that the was heading there to join a terror group. The shooting unfolded on Sunday evening as the American Freedom Defense Initiative held an event inside the building where caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad were being displayed.
