X-ray Tomography for Material Parameterisation - A. Wade

Computational modelling is a powerful tool enabling the prediction of cell performance. However, each model requires specific electrode parameters. X-ray computed tomography can be used to calculate these values, and compare their properties between materials and manufacturers. Furthermore, the resulting computed volumes can be meshed and fed directly in 3D modelling software. By doing so, real-world electrode microstructures can be studied and evaluated. This talk will focus on how data is collected, what parameters can be extracted, and how it may be useful for your models.
