Port Macquarie and Muswellbrook to enter lockdown

Port Macquarie and Muswellbrook will enter lockdown from 6pm on Tuesday for seven days. If anyone was in Port Macquarie from September 17, they must follow the stay-at-home orders no matter where located in the state and if from Muswellbrook, it is from September 22. Kempsey is coming out of lockdown from midnight tonight but it is being reviewed on an hourly basis and there could be a chance of restriction changes. Tweed and Byron Bay are set to come out of lockdown as well from midnight tonight after one person tested positive for COVID-19 but no other cases have been detected since.
