North College Hill man in court after resisting arrest

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A North College Hill man faced a judge Monday morning after police say he resisted arrest after he stole his grandmother's cell phone. Police said when they showed up to arrest 23-year-old Geoffrey Stamper, he started backing up and wouldn't put his hands behind his back to be handcuffed. When the officer called for backup, he said Stamper tried to run away and fight him. Stamper is now charged with resisting arrest and theft.
