Florida's Latino population is as diverse as their politics

Florida has quite the reputation - both in politics and pop culture. Their demographics are wide ranging, particularly within the Hispanic and Latino populations. One out of every ten latinos in the United States lives in Florida - but they are not a monolithic voting bloc. Cubans are the largest and most conservative voting bloc, but the growing Puerto Rican population in the middle of the state could soon eclipse them as the largest Latino demographic. Eligible Puerto Rican voters lean blue, especially after Trump's handling of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
