Our team Zao of Zao is fighting against another team with 3 players. Right now there are two main methods of playing Twisted Treeline: Duo top with a support like Leona or Annie Two solo lanes with a jungler For the most part it seems like the NA region prefers the jungler meta, whereas the EU region prefers the support meta. I can't say for sure which one is better, but personally I think the support meta gives a much safer early game, which allows you to potentially snowball off of. We decided to play the champions Cho'Gath, Veigar and Heimerdinger. Their theam contains the champions Jarvan IV, Warwick and Dr.Mundo. Some information about the champions in this game: ► Cho'Gath, The Terror of the Void Roles: Tank/Mage/Magical Damage/Mid/Jungler/Top General Counter Tips with cho'gath: -Dodging his rupture by turning back shortly will let you escape him easily. -Kill him early so he won't be able to get his Feast stacks up. -Building HP will make Cho's true damage ultimate deal less damage to you. -Let him suffer if he misses a rupture ► Veigar, The Tiny Master of Evil Roles: Mage/Magical Damage/Mid General Counter Tips for Veigar: -Veigar's ultimate deals more damage the more AP you have - so it's good to pick AD champions against a Veigar. -Veigar's stun field will only stun targets around the edge. So you can either stay inside the ring, or Flash out of it. -Try to avoid Dark Matter as it deals massive damage when it lands. -Try to bait out the stun, without it, Veigar is a lot more vulnerable. But be wary of the burst of his Q-R combo ► Heimerdinger, The Revered Inventor Roles: Mage/Magical Damage/Mid General Counter Tips for Heimerdinger: -Killing his turrets first when cast will greatly lower his damage output. -Avoid being in the center of his grenade, as it will stun you instead of a blind. -Dont gank a heimer when low on health, heimer is good at turning around ganks for kills, if your gonna kill him be sure you can take him -Never dive an Heimer if he-s got his towers up, not even poke him unless you have very long range like Xerath. Landing an AOE ability on his turrets before diving (like Anivia's ult) will deny most of his damage. ► Jarvan IV, The Exemplar of Demacia Roles:Physical Damage/Fighter/Tank/Jungler/Top General Counter Tips: -Displacement/dash/jump abilities will let you leap out of his ultimate easily. -Jarvan can be knocked back while casting his Dragon Strike to connect to his flag. -Try to not encounter him early. His Dragon Strike ability can shred you. -A good Jarvan will lock up your backline and force dashes and flashes to be used. A bad Jarvan will lock up his carries along with him, so make sure to take advantage, especially if the carries are fairly immobile. ► Warwick, The Blood Hunter Roles: Physical Damage/Fighter/Magical Damage/Jungler/Top General Counter Tips: -A Quicksilver Sash and will stop Warwick's ultimate immediately. -Try to save a disable (silence/stun/knock-up/displacement) for when he uses his ultimate. -Warwick heals a lot of health from his Hungering Strike - using an Ignite on him will make him heal for a lot less. -Do not fight Warwick for long periods of time, as he excels at long trades. ►Dr. Mundo, The Madman of Zaun Physical Damage/Fighter/Jungler/Top General Counter Tips: -Ignite significantly lowers Mundo's Health regen from his passive and ultimate. -If Mundo can't be bursted by your team when he turns on his ultimate, ignore him until his ultimate ends. -Mundo ganks can easily be averted by dodging the first Cleaver. -If possible try to slow him during chases and Dodge his cleavers. If he lands more than 2 cleavers on you in a chase you are Doomed so it's Definately necessary to Dodge the cleavers. Thanks for watching!
