Watch Yourselves Luke 21:34 “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. 21:35 For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 21:36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” The Man of Lawlessness 2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 2:5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 2:6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 2:10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 2:11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 2:12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 5:10 who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. Do you Know for sure that Jesus Christ is your Personal Savior? First, realize that God loves you... John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Second, realize that everyone is a sinner... Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Thirdly, , realize that sin has a price to be paid... Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Fourthly, realize that Jesus Christ died to pay your price... Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Finally, pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior, and claim His promsie of eternal life... Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
