Riddarspranget, 9.june,1997

In Norway, in 1997 i found this, one of the more scary waterfalls I've seen ever. In june, the still cold river flows into this very narrow canyon, only about 1 to 3 meters wide , to form a most dangerous and turbulent malstroem, and an almost fresh wreath on the opposite bank is signifying that this is not a playground for kids. I never heard of anyone trying to kayak or riverraft this spot. It is called "Riddarspranget" in Norwegian, meaning: The Knight's jump, in English.
