Tuesday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Sunshine returns today; snow later this week

Yes! Sunshine returns in today's Cleveland weather forecast across Northeast Ohio as temperatures top out around 40 degrees. "It's going to be a delightful day, really," explains 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano. Cloudy conditions return by Wednesday as we keep watch on a big system that will impact the region later this week. "By Thursday, we’ll have rain. Just rain," Strano says. "It’s going to be an on-and-off rain with temperatures in the 40s." But then colder air moves in behind it. “We start to see scattered snow just in time for the weekend before Christmas. How perfect is that?” Friday we should quiet down for the early half of the day as the colder air begins to push in. We should top out near 40 with sliding temps towards afternoon and evening. Snow showers will likely develop later in the day once the cold air gets here. Scattered snow showers will be likely Saturday. Looking ahead to next week (the week before Christmas), we'll continue to have cold air in place with several shots at storm systems bringing some kind of snowy weather through the region. Stay tuned! Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY | Mix of sun and clouds. Low 40s. WEDNESDAY | Mostly cloudy. Low 40s. THURSDAY | Rain likely, some mixing possible out east towards Pennsylvania. Breezy with highs in the mid 40s. READ MORE: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
