Day 2 (June 2, 2021): Can Vaccines Win the Race Against Variants and Misinformation? Opening Keynote: Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in conversation with Dr. Helene D. Gayle, President & CEO, The Chicago Community Trust discuss vaccines and the fight against COVID-19. Summit Background: This ninth Annual Summit is organized by the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), CARE and The Carter Center.
