UAE calls Iran’s strikes ‘terrorist attack’ says fully prepared to respond decisively to threats

The United Arab Emirates on March 18 condemned Iran and called Tehran’s action as ‘unprovoked terrorist attacks’. It also unequivocally rejected any aggression targeting its security or sovereignty amid the ongoing West Asia war. UAE, Ministry of foreign affairs in an ‘X’ post said that it remains steadfast and fully prepared to respond decisively to any threat. UAE will act with “absolute resolve to protect its citizens, residents, and visitors, and defend its national interests” the X post read. It also noted that United Arab Emirates will not tolerate any attempt to compromise its security or territorial integrity. In a separate post the ministry said, UAE Deputy PM has expressed condolences to the victims killed in Iranian strikes. Meanwhile, an Iranian strike hit the area at Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates on early hours of March 18. The facility, which has hosted a continuous "Australian Defence Force (ADF)" presence for many years, was hit during strike.
