Introduction to the vector equation of a line in a 3D coordinate system, direction vector

In this episode I want to explain to you how you can describe a straight line in space with the help of an equation. A straight line consists of an infinite number of points and we want to reach every point on our straight line with our equation. In analytical geometry you can describe straight lines with the help of vectors. With this video I want to help you understand how you can use vectors to reach an infinite number of points, which all have in common that they lie on a straight line. You will learn the concept of the support vector, also known as the starting point vector, as well as the direction vector. Have fun! The video was created by Mathias Böck and Martin Weckerle
