भारत पहुंचा Super Cyclone Amphan, West Bengal के Digha और Bangladesh के Hatiya के बीच लैंडफॉल शुरू

महाचक्रवाती तूफान अम्फान (Super Cyclone Amphan) आज दोपहर पश्चिम बंगाल (West Bengal) पहुंच गया है. राहत की बात ये हैं कि ओडिशा (Odisha) में तेज बारिश और हवा के चलते चक्रवाती तूफान (Cyclone) पहले से काफी कमजोर पड़ गया है. ओडिशा के पारादीप में सुबह से ही तेज हवाएं चल रही हैं. बताया जाता है कि पश्चिम बंगाल में अब 160 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चल रही हैं जो कि 190 किमी तक पहुंच सकती हैं. बंगाल में अम्फान का तांडव 4 घंटे तक जारी रह सकता है. वहीं अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पश्चिम बंगाल में चक्रवात ‘अम्फान’ की चपेट में आने से दो लोगों की मौत हो गई है. Extremely severe cyclonic storm 'Amphan' made landfall at Digha in West Bengal today, leaving a trail of destruction which led to the death of two persons in the state. The cyclone with wind speed of 160-170 kmph, gusting to 190 kmph coupled with heavy rain hit the Digha coast in East Medinipur district around 2.30 pm, officials said.
