Pruning Pepper Plants - Easy way to bigger harvests

Pruning Pepper Plants - Easy way to bigger harvests

In this video I'll be displaying the benefits of topping, pruning and training pepper plants. I'll be growing bell peppers with the Kratky hydroponic method and testing various growing techniques to see how each plant performs. 'Topping' is a technique in which we purposefully cut the main stem of a plant to encourage growth in side branches. This creates more of a bush-like plant than a tree-like plant. Pruning away leaves, flowers and stems allows us to further shape our plants. And lastly training plants involves applying pressure to push the plant in the directions we want it to grow. ----------------------- Product Links ------------------------- ------------ Garden Necessities: ------------ Grodan A-OK Starter Cubes 1.5inch - http://bit.ly/GRoDAN CZ heavy duty wide rim Net Cups 2inch - http://bit.ly/netCUPS Clay Pebbles (any brand) - http://bit.ly/clayPEBBLEs Programmable Outlets - http://bit.ly/outletTIMER PH & TDS Meters - http://bit.ly/PHtds Hand Tools - https://bit.ly/handShovels ------------ Hydroponic Nutrients: ------------ Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom: http://bit.ly/advancedNUTRIENTS ------------ LED Grow Lights: ------------ My primary light is the Mars Hydro TSW2000 - http://bit.ly/marsTSW2000 I also use the Viparspectra P1000 - http://bit.ly/viparspectraP1000 ------------- Video Equipment: ------------------ iPhone XS / iPhone 12 Amazon Basics Tripod - http://bit.ly/TRIPoD Phone Mount - http://bit.ly/phoneMount Moza mini-S Gimble - http://bit.ly/myGIMBLE Yongnuo Light - http://bit.ly/videoLIGHT HyperX Quadcast Mic - http://bit.ly/hyperxQUAD Please note that I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites/people to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties, including but not limited to amazon.com. #Peppers #Hydroponics #GrowYourOwn #sustainable #garden
