About This Game: Dying Light: The Beast is a 2025 standalone survival horror game and a sequel to the original Dying Light. The game follows Kyle Crane, the protagonist from the first game, who has been held captive and experimented on for 13 years by a mysterious figure known as the Baron. After escaping, Crane must use his new human-zombie hybrid powers, including a "Beast Mode" for powerful attacks, to get revenge. Key features include: Setting: The open world of Castor Woods, a rural valley inspired by the Swiss Alps, with forests, towns, and industrial areas. Day/Night Cycle: The series' trademark day/night system returns, with zombies becoming more dangerous and aggressive after dark. Movement: Players navigate the environment with refined first-person parkour and can also drive vehicles. Gameplay: Combat uses a mix of melee weapons, firearms, and Crane's new "Beast Mode" abilities. Multiplayer: The game supports up to 4-player cooperative play.
