‘Dark Souls 3’ now runs even better on Xbox Series X|S

As part of the new generation of Xbox consoles, older games are getting upgrades thanks to the power of the hardware on offer, and one such upgrade has recently rolled out, and is called “FPS Boost”. The latest game to get this treatment is a big one, and it’s ‘Dark Souls 3’. This is also a big deal to Xbox fans, as PlayStation owners have been able to get the higher frame rate for Dark Souls 3 for a while now, thanks to an update for the game on PS4 Pro, which removed a 30fps cap. While this actually meant that on PS4 Pro the frame rate ended up more variable, achieving 60 at a maximum, it did mean that the PS5’s hardware and backwards compatibility functions let it run at the full 60fps, and now it is doable on Xbox Series S and X as well.
