Gender-Responsive Services Learning Community: Women & Contact with Law Enforcement

The Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) Gender-Responsive Services (GRS) Learning Community is hosted by The Council of State Governments Justice Center in collaboration with Becki Ney, the Project Director and Principal at the National Resource Center on Justice-Involved Women (NRCJIW), Center for Effective Public Policy. The Learning community is funded by the Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance. The third session of the GRS Learning Community was held on July 8, 2020 on the topic of “Women and Contact with Law Enforcement in the Community: A Closer Look.” This session featured a presentation and guided discussion with grantees by Becki Ney and Detective Kim Bogucki, Seattle Police Department; Founder, The If Project.
