Wake Forest picked up its second conference win of the season, 51-50 over Georgia Tech in a game that was in doubt until the very end. Wake’s defense held Tech to just 35% shooting from the field and denied the Jackets at the rim numerous times in the closing seconds. Offensively, Elise Williams had 15 points on 6-12 shooting with 6 assists to lead the Deacs in both categories. Kayla Blackshear had 16 points and 13 rebounds in an impressive individual performance in the loss.
