Halfmoon Bay rockfish and halibut
Ocean was flat and I had the place to myself. Halibut was 36” and 19.5 lbs. GoPro battery died right before I caught the vermillion that finished out my limit. I dropped a huge grub down for Lingcod as a joke and 5 seconds after hit bottom thought I was snagged then that halibut started pealing drag. Lost my gaf trying to get it in the boat and ended up netting it with my Kokanee net. Wish that was on film. Swapped batteries and then a whale showed up. Epic day.
