the dream chaser spacecraft built by Sierra Nevada Corporation, high-tech and runway landing vehicle for low-earth orbit destinations. Dream Chaser launches on a conventional rocket inside a standard 5m fairing. solar arrays and wings deploy on-orbit. the vehicle will perform at least six nasa missions starting in late 2021 under the commercial re-supply services 2 contract. dream chaser can carry up to 12000 pounds of supplies , cargo and science experiments to international space station. pressurized and unpressurized cargo, including powered payloads, fit inside the vehicle and the attached cargo module. for nasa missions, the vehicle will berth to the space station. dream chaser can perform cargo disposal upon re-entry. the spacecraft can land on a conventional runway (with approved licensing) and returns delicate science with a gentle 1.5g landing.
