Rainy Morning on Mount Le Conte || Alum Cave Trail

It wasn't an ideal morning due to rain and fog but we always enjoy trekking up Mount Le Conte to the cabins. Alum Cave Bluff Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the shortest route to the top. Rainbow Falls Trail, Bullhead Trail, Trillium Gap Trail, The Boulevard Trail, and the Brushy Mountain Trail (the longest and steepest) offer alternate routes. Even in the rain Alum Cave Bluff offers cover and it's always where we take a break on the way up. Video recorded on September 17th, 2023.
