Revival and the Power of the Holy Spirit - Pastor Alan Odle

This was a short word I gave at the powerful Friday night, October 30 prayer meeting at Weaver CH Church in Weaver, Alabama. The things we see in the times we live remind us how desperately the church needs revival. We need the death side of the cross where we humble ourselves in fresh and complete surrender to God, but we also need the resurrection and Holy Spirit power side of the cross. For the end time revival, we must walk in both. Jesus is calling his church to completely return to him as first love. Jesus is calling us to return to the purity, the faithfulness and the power that is found in his Word. I just started a church in Auburn, Alabama. The name of the church is Philadelphia House of Prayer. I know the Lord will have me doing many things with Pastors John and Ellen Duncan of Weaver CH Church. A "little revival" has broken out there and we desperately pray that it will become a full revival and spread!
