PM pleads with premiers to resolve border impasse

The Prime Minister has issued a plea to premiers to resolve border tensions and relax restrictions that cut regional communities off from critical resources. Border towns in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland say they are bearing the brunt of the pandemic, despite many recording low case numbers, and pushed their governments to restore access to vital cross-border services including health and education.
