The sheriff, Bigby Wolf, once the infamous "Big Bad Wolf," becomes swept into a case involving the gruesome murder of a Fable. With this death in Fabletown, along with his history of violence and brutality, Bigby finds his role as protector and sheriff threatened. The Wolf Among Us is an ongoing episodic graphic adventure based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series. It was developed by Telltale Games and it is canon with the comic book universe. The game will consist of five episodes, with the first episode being released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox Live Arcade worldwide on October 11, 2013, for OS X worldwide on October 14, 2013, and for PlayStation Network on October 15, 2013 in North America. The player will take control of Bigby Wolf and will feature a choice-based system where the player decides if he should give in to the wolf's side, or whether he should try to get along and keep everybody safe. He will try to keep fairy tale characters, such as one of the Three Little Pigs and Mr. Toad from being detected by the 'mundies'; non-fairy tale people. The first episode, Faith, received positive reviews from video game critics, with some even rating it higher than the premiere episode of Telltale's previous series, The Walking Dead. Criticism was still aimed at mostly the technical hiccups, a recurring problem in Telltale's recent ventures, and especially the difference in gameplay between Bigby Wolf's character and Lee Everett's character.
