Contribute - Predicting the unpredictable in disaster response

The Contribute research project on improvements in humanitarian logistics and supply chains ran 2010-2013 and was co-funded by the Norwegian Research Council, Avenir Analytics, Wilh.Wilhelmsen ASA, and BI Norwegian Business School. The project worked with engaging representatives of the key actors involved in operating humanitarian supply chains, and use the collective knowledge to develop evidence for (i) putting a spotlight on the topic and engage the wider humanitarian community in actively discussing and generating solutions and (ii) developing tools and concepts that could be used by the actors to implement the solutions.
