New South Wales has recorded 1,063 new community COVID-19 cases and six deaths, as vaccination rates continue to climb. There are now 1,244 COVID-19 patients in hospital in NSW, with 223 of those in intensive care units. Of the new deaths, three people were from western Sydney, two were from southwestern Sydney and one was from the state's west. Four were women and two were men, and four were unvaccinated.
