Here is my guide on how to play COD BO4 on the Xbox One without an Online Xbox Live Gold/Gamepass membership. This has worked since the game came out and the trick will continue to work far after 2026. NOTE: As plenty of comments have mentioned this trick does not work on the Series consoles. I remember in the past there was a video that had a comment sharing a method but because I don't have a series console, I didn't bother sharing it nor trying. It does work on the original xbox one s & x. Steps: 1. Go to internet settings and press go offline [on newer series consoles you need to restart the whole system after this step] 2. Open Call of Duty Black Ops 4 3. Press Play Online (an error will pop-up saying you are offline) 4. Close the error offline message 5. Go to internet settings, go back online 6.
