WSS 2000 Phillip Island Pitt and Xaus crash

Ruben Xaus takes a tear off off down Gardner Straight and an unsuspecting Andrew Pitt runs into the back of him, damaging his fairing. This also gave Xaus tyre troubles, resulting in him having to come into the pits and fall a lap behind the leaders. Remarkably, once the rain started falling and the race was restarted, Xaus came from 27th on the grid to finish first on the track (albeit still a lap down on aggregate)
