9.65 Rubik's Cube One-Handed Average | Runner-Up World Champion 2023
Rubik's WCA World Championship 2023 (August 13-16), 3x3 One-Handed finals Achieving such a fast average for me at the right time felt surreal. My goal going into the competition was to finish in the top6, because I secretly pledged with @diegofraile2651that I would switch to Roux if I didn't. It wasn't much of a concern in the end since I was already very proud of qualifying in 3rd seed. Thus my mindset was exactly the same as in 2019 when I placed 3rd at worlds in Melbourne. I was just incredibly happy to be there and would be satisfied no matter the result. Also the positive interactions I had at the competition despite my social anxiety were going to make the championship a wonderful memory regardless. Massive congrats to @SeanVillCubing on the title (you were one of the people I expected to win), @LukeGarrett on the OH and clock podiums and 5th place in 3x3, and @Rouxleson his insane 6.45 single! Also good job to Nicholas on the 9.05 ER average this weekend. I cannot thank my boyfriend @quentinrivault enough for being there for me even in difficult times. Also shoutout to my friend @AnatoleVolongofor the practice opportunities at his house in Seoul, to all of my friends who cheered me on and made this a memorable journey, as well as my brother for coming to support me on the last day.
