Turkish Cargo Boeing 777 Low Approach and Landing at Paine Field

Returning from yet another test flight, this beautiful Turkish Cargo Boeing 777 emerges from the clouds and makes beautiful landing on a soggy runway after performing a go-around from an ILS Runway 16R Missed Approach. During the first approach you can see all landing gear doors are open, and the Ram Air Turbine - RAT - extended. This is a normal occurrence here at Paine Field due to the pre-delivery test flights. The doors indicate that the landing gear was extended using the auxiliary landing gear extension which unlocks the doors, allowing them to just free-fall into the open position, which is done in the case of a hydraulic system failure. The RAT is extended as a wind-driven backup for the hydraulic system.
