On the other hand, Vell performed this song first at Autism Society of the Philippines' 10th National Conference in November 2007 where she sang this as an opening prayer and continued singing this as opening prayer for various autism themed events. Vell's notes: "Singing this song [Why God] composed by a mother whose sons have autism makes me want to reflect deeply after hearing my old version of that song. Upon reflecting to record that in my best way I can, it makes me wonder what others think if this would be a prayer for every person with autism like me? I just got permission 2 years from now from Ms. Gina herself if I can sing this song again and I didn't expect that she felt proud and honored that I sang one of her songs which were this. This day [Autism Sunday] was also a special day of prayer and blessing for everyone here with autism across the globe while celebrating Valentine's Day with loved ones and grieving the pandemic. Singing this song also motivated me to be myself and pursue my dreams and be myself and do something that makes me happy as I put my heart and mind into everything I wanna do.
