The Jewel in The Crown: Bond Street's Dazzling New Christmas Lights It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go and nowhere more so than on Bond Street For the past eight years, our beautiful and much-loved peacock feathers have provided a stunning light display. But this year, shoppers are in for a spectacular treat as we pack away our feathers and take inspiration from the beauty of The Crown Jewels and the world-class jewellery houses that have made Bond Street their home. Bond Street’s jewellery is of course legendary. Home to some of the world’s most revered houses from Cartier to De Beers (the latter created a stunning diamond crown for the Diamond Jubilee) and Tiffany & Co, which was given the Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1882. Indeed, Bond Street and neighbouring St James's have more Royal Warrants than anywhere else in the UK. The concept for our new lighting, started in early 2021 to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and our longest-serving monarch. Now we pay an elegant and warm-hearted tribute to HRH Queen Elizabeth II with beautiful lights that celebrate Bond Street’s long-running Royal connections.
