The axe was the reason of the relationship falling apart. We lose the character in the second part because of the hit and run instance that occurs. The axe accomplished what its purpose was, and that was to cut the tree down..rip the relationship apart. And like a true villain, the axe disappears with no remorse. But in this part..she is back. She is told by that lasting memory that she needs to fix what she's done..and when told she tries to escape. Its a lot easier to do wrong and run out..then it is to face the damage you've done..but she is forced to face it and throughout this dance she does so. She connects with all of the trees..ripping them down as she goes..because thats what she was made to do...cut. Cut everything she touches apart. But as she continues on, she realizes what she's doing. She is massacring all that is around her. Then comes the back pedal.. but by then its too late. She has already done too much damage that when she tries to turn around and apologize, everything dies. She did it to herself, because that was her sole purpose. Then her last hope is the one she cut the deepest so long ago..and while reaching out for acceptance..the revenge that was so long awaiting her finally occurs, and she is cut the same way she cut all those around her. The root of this dance is to show that sometimes you are your own worst enemy. Finding love can be a hard thing to do..but keeping love can be even harder. Especially when you can't always control the influences around you. Thats the risk of love..and the risk of life. Taking the good with the bad, and hoping that the bad wont out weigh the good. But sadly.. in this case the bad takes precedence above all else and cant be undone. For choreography/master classes or to book the company contact [email protected]
