When choosing a camera, lights or any photo or video gear really, don't just buy a camera, buy into a brand. Canon, Sony, Red, Aputure, Godox, it doesn't matter, Photo and video gear is expensive, annoyingly expensive actually. And if you don't plan your long term gear purchases you may be stuck with gear you don't like or don't even use because it actually slows you down. There are a numerous brands out there, for cameras, lights, microphones, and each one claims it’s the best and has a band of rabid devoted followers arguing on their behalf.
