13 June Monsoon Update: Skymet Weather

http://www.skymetweather.com/ Clouds -- In this satellite image you can see monsoons clouds covering the northeast Arabian seaand adjoining Bhuj. Thick monsoon clouds on the other hand can be seen over northwest Bay of Bengal, Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Broken low medium clouds or thick patchy clouds are visibleover Kerala, south Karnataka and Rayalseema. Scattered clouds or partly cloudy days will be observed over rest of the country. The NLMor the Northern Limit of the Monsoon can be seen passing Ahmedabad, Satna, Ranchi, Behrampur and Gangtok. The NLM would further advance northwards and advance towards east and central India, covering remaining parts of north Gujarat Jharkhand, West Bengal & Orissa some more parts of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and southeast Rajasthan during next two days. Rainfall--Rainfall is expected to be heavy over parts of Orissa, Chattisgarh, along the west coast of India, up to Goa. 60 to 80mm of rainfall could occur in these parts. Moderate rainfall of up to 50mmmay occur over west M.P, Saurashtra, coastal Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts Telangana and Vidharba. Light rain is a chance almost over rest of the country except Bihar, east U.P, TN, and parts of Rajasthan where could only be a slight possibility. Temps--North India -- In the plains of north India, temps will continue to be on the lower side, i.e. around 34 to 37 degrees. Delhi may have sultry weather due to humid winds, easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal. Thunderstorm and light rain is a possibility over J&K, H.P Punjab, northern parts of Haryana. Rajasthan will be the hottest in India. Temps inE and NEmayrise marginally, Day and night temps may rise by 1 to 3 degrees over northeast India due to subdued rains. SWB and east Bihar will also witness a rise in both day and night temps. Jharnkhand and Orissa may be below normal, around 32 to 35 degrees. Temps will continue to be below normal by 6 to 8 degrees over entire Central India because of continuous rainfall. Max temps may not go beyond 31 degrees. Bhopal will be around 30 and 23 degrees. Since Gujarat will have moderate rainfall, temps here could be in the lower thirties. Surat could be coolest at 29degrees. In South Indiatemps will be slight below normal in Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Bangalore may be around 28degrees. TN will be the hottest in south India because of hardly any rain. Chennai will be around 38 degrees. Rain is gradually increasing over Andhra Pradesh coast, Hyderabad could be very pleasant and significantly below normal at 31 degrees.
