Cliffside Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp 🏔️ | Nepal

This is the approach to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, trekking through one of the most remote regions of Nepal. For a full week, we followed the Myagdi River valley, moving steadily higher toward the mountain. It’s an incredible route — a mix of narrow cliffside trails, deep valleys, sheer drop-offs, frequent river crossings, and welcoming local villages along the way. Some sections are definitely sketchy, but that’s part of what makes this approach so memorable and rewarding. This particular valley was something special: sheer vertical drops straight down, with wide-open views that felt endless. Remote, exposed, and absolutely epic. Once we finally reached base camp, the real work could begin — a 39-day climb on Dhaulagiri. Long days, big goals, and even bigger respect for the land and the people who live here.
