6th ever visit to the Thrill Capital of the World Since I returned from the Average Plane Trip Reuniting in Southern France, able to touch the High Thrill stuff again. In this one, just 1 more Normal Weekend before Fright Fest 2025 kicks in which I may or may not participate, but tried my whole best to be strategic with each rides during a Longer Operational Saturday plus rode something New as another old Ride in the Park, along with the Renewal during the MVP sale that giveaway Gold & Prestige passholders to Knott's Berry Farm which I have an ability again to access for a reunion (Proof: • Post ), along with 40+ other parks in the Mega Merged Six Flags Chain! Anyways, the two Major POVs I got are a Completed Wonder Woman Flight of Courage along side the halfway progressed Tatsu, Minor ones include Jet Stream, Revolution, Scream, Viper, & Goliath with different purposes each. More eventually would be filmed (Next group of Ride and Queue POVs will likely be Ninja, Scream, and Twisted Colossus; subject to change). Stayed from Middle of Golden Hour (No Rope Drop but wisely entered Tatsu's surprisingly fast line) until 8 PM as the Regular Closing on a Saturday. Speaking of Scream, just snagged a Back Row Ride on this thing with a POV during the Evening to make a Closing Strategy to fill as many coaster rides as possible to prove of riding almost every visit. Scream Thankfully like Viper almost always have a Walk-On line that I could ride these at any time I want to for satisfying my thrilling needs (The needs I got from Scream is a Fluid Inversion based layout while sitting down during the relentless pace). You're watching right now, is an On-Ride POV on the Back Row during the Weekend before Fright Fest with the Hyperview and Hypersmooth 5.0 (In terms of scenery, not much other than the parking lot & head chopper moments which could hit the corners of the screen for an illusion). The difference between this & my front row POV is that not only you can see the other Riders Maneuvering the Elements, also Hypersmooth still active in evening if not dark enough. For the formula order of POVs that could be edited, Scream will most likely be next after Ninja likely (Also after Tatsu), or substitute with Batman the Ride, subject to change w/o notice. Until then, enjoy this POV if u could. As for the brief word review of my own: A feel of Emperor especially being placed on the parking lot as I don’t care much although 20 or technically 22 years older than that coaster, but it’s more like an old school multi looper while sitting down along side with a much longer experience with more inversions minus the steep drop, instead with a curved drop. The seats and it’s over the shoulder restraints are exactly like the two inverts I ridden Silver Bullet & Batman the ride but with the track & wheels traditionally below instead. The queue has a logo with upclose colored people faces for the entrance sign, just a straight path to the lockers for the queue, the stairs with some poster theming of gears combined with more logos & people faces blending with screampunk district, the station music never released on YouTube, the floor that tilts sideways when dispatching with a NoLimits 2 sound effect & resetting rather than keeping the same straight position, and of course the coolest exit experience while going under the vertical loop. Presentation wise for a ride placed on a parking lot, looks more bland than emperor by the default concrete rather than colored gravel in terms of the lack of theming but it’s fine with me, even though part of me wishes they could’ve touch up with outdoor props & floor work to look better at least to blend more of its area, so the actual ride matters more. For the coaster track itself, although some enthusiasts trashed the ride for being “rough” simply for maintenance issues, this track is surprisingly smooth while keeping its relentless pacing throughout its prime ride time especially when I kept my head forwards during my Casual Rides and minor POVs shots front & back retaining the classic old B&M sit down feel. For comfort, same feeling as the two inverts I went but I can feel more on the course, I rode Batman The Ride but Corkscrews got me more than Scream. Overall, this is a Longer version of Emperor with the similar elements pack in with 4 more inversions, a bit more wiggle & breathing room with the classic OTSRs even though it might contain head banging, a slower lift hill sound, and excludes magnetic brakes when the ride finishes. If I’m not too busy to ride the riddler’s revenge and it keeps running at least 2 trains, I’d be more than happy to ride it more than once when I’m close to Twisted Colossus or Goliath at least.
