This cup is very interesting. DK Pass, while not super interesting as a track, has this insane item box on the hill halfway through the map that always gives either a red shell, single mushroom, triple mushroom or a star regardless of your place in the race, similar to the item box attached to the hot air balloon in Mario Kart 64’s Luigi Raceway that always gave you a blue shell. Then you have Tick-Tock Clock, a fan favourite stage based on the level of the same name from Super Mario 64. Then this game’s Mario Circuit - in the Star Cup. Every other Mario Kart has their Mario Circuit in the Flower Cup at latest. And then we have Airship Fortress, another fan favourite this time based on the airship levels from Super Mario Bros. 3.
