More Ceefax ! BBC News and weather April 9th 1993

I discovered another tape with even more Ceefax footage on it, plus some BBC South news and weather from April 9th 1993. Watching this old material is fascinating. It's certainly a different time; before 9/11, Covid and so on, but looking at Ceefax, there's still war, beatings caught on camera, strikes, shortages and plane crashes. So not quite the "calm before the storm" that we perhaps remember so fondly! Nothing changes really. Enjoy this look at the past (at least from a UK perspective)
